Patient Notice - Coronavirus

Following the recent government announcement regarding the changes to the Covid rules from 19th July 2021, we would like to reassure you that all our current protocols will remain in place after that date. This is to protect both patients and staff from any continuing risks of Coronavirus. We will continue to ask for masks to be worn, temperatures taken and the use of our hand gel on entry to the practice. We have many vulnerable patients and would like them to feel as safe and comfortable as possible when attending for their appointments. For that reason, we would also like you to remain in your cars, if possible, and we will come and get you when we are ready.

Other protocols which will remain unchanged are as follows….

- Screening patients through medical history taking to include vaccination status.

- Enhanced protection for dentists and nurses during certain procedures.

- Air purification and ventilation in all surgeries.

- High standards of cross infection control (just as pre Covid).

We would appreciate your understanding and cooperation in this matter as we continue to offer the high standards of care we know you have come to expect from us.

Please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns you may have by email or telephone and I will be happy to help.

Take care.

Kind regards,

Jo Dixon, Practice Manager
