David qualified from the University of Bristol in 2000.
He has held teaching posts in oral surgery & restorative dentistry at Bristol & Newcastle Dental Hospitals and is passionate about caring for anxious patients and those with dental phobias. Perusing this interest, he completed his Diploma in Conscious Sedation and Anxiety Management in 2015 at Newcastle University. He believes that modern dentistry can be delivered in a calm, relaxing and comfortable way.
Outside of work, he is usually found ferrying his daughters between Netball and Judo clubs and competitions. On the rare occasions he has time to himself he can be found trying to train his unruly flat-coated retriever Mack, riding his bike, in or on some water (frozen or liquid) and desperately trying to get out for a meal with his Wife.
